Opportunities within Misfortune

As many of you are aware, Twitter is limiting its views to 800 posts per day for non verified users. It’s surprising how quickly that can run out and it just so happens I already have.

Considering not much can be done with the amount of views I feel it’s a good time to focus on my site a bit more. Hence, I’ll state my intentions for the site.

First off, I need to reconnect the lore section to my World Anvil page. Apparently the link changed when I changed the world’s name to Maetheria. That shouldn’t take entirely too long.

Next I need to add more entries into the World Anvil. I have a lot of lore, but not a lot articles finished.

Then, adding more posts to the website itself is probably a good idea. Originally I was going to have a schedule for every day of the week, but I never get around to it. Instead I think I’ll focus on something once a week. It will be a status update on the site, my book, and whatever I’m playing or reading at the moment. I may expand to more later, but that’s just to get me into the swing of things.

Lastly, I want to do an overhaul of the site itself. That includes improving its look, adding more updated info on Shadows of the Argent Tower, and just dealing with general typos.

All in all, the thing with Twitter is probably a good opportunity in disguise. My hiatus likely won’t be permanent. Musk said the limit was temporary, but focusing on a platform I have some control over will be good for me in the end.
