The origins of evil often lie in the intentions of the pure.
Alessa wants to make the world a better place. To gain the power to change the world she travels to Adsen to become a wizard, but with no aptitude she must take a job as caretaker for the half demon Zep. When she arrives, however, she finds demons kidnapping pregnant women off the streets. Even worse, her dark origins hidden from her at birth may be connected.
